Analysis of ethical and legal issues
Through this result, the project will produce:
a. A compilation/guide of the development of policies and protocols that will provide guidance on the responsible and ethical use of AI in the secondary education and training field. These policies and protocols will be based on research and consultation with experts in the field.
b. A set of ethical best practices for using AI in education and training. These best practices will provide guidance on how to use AI in a way that respects privacy, protects data, and adheres to ethical standards.
c. An evaluation schema that will provide a framework for assessing the use of AI in education. The schema will assess AI’s capability, utility, and adoption to fight cyberbullying and will also take into account considerations such as data privacy, ethics, and EU values.
d. A guide that outlines ethical best practices for using AI to detect situations of cyberbullying among teenagers. This guide will provide recommendations on how to use AI in a way that respects privacy, protects data, and adheres to ethical standards. The guide would also provide guidance on how to identify and support teenagers who may be experiencing cyberbullying.
Digital Educative Platform
Through this result, the project will produce:
a. A website aimed at enhancing cyberbullying awareness among teens and their parents, offering a resource hub for prevention, fostering a supportive community for sharing experiences, as well as enabling stakeholders’ collaboration in this topic.
b. Didactic units focusing on the combat of cyberbullying. These units will aim to raise awareness and understanding of cyberbullying among youth in order to improve their skills in identifying and preventing it, offer strategies for dealing with incidents, encourage respectful online behavior, and empower them to advocate for a positive environment on the Internet.
c. MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) which will play a pivotal role in combating cyberbullying among teenagers. These courses will benefit both students and teachers by delivering comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for preventing cyberbullying. They promise a dynamic and interactive learning environment that will emphasize the detrimental effects of cyberbullying, highlighting the consequences for both victims and perpetrators. Furthermore, these MOOCs will empower young individuals to proactively address and combat cyberbullying within their social circles and wider communities. Additionally, they will offer a scalable solution to educate a broad audience, transcending geographical, regional, and cultural boundaries.
AI Toolkit (Self-assessment tool/APP Gaming)
Through this result, the project will produce:
a. An AI tool in the form of a self-assessment chatbot that will allow students to assess quickly and efficiently their own behaviors and identify potential instances of cyberbullying. It will also make it possible to create clear boundaries on acceptable behavior and carry out interventions for at-risk individuals. On the other hand, it will facilitate Improved student engagement in anti-cyberbullying efforts. Overall, the tool will contribute to a safer, more supportive online environment.
b. An APP/Game, addressed to both students and teachers, which will improve cyberbullying prevention, increase awareness, provide better support for victims, enhance personal responsibility and create better community standards.
