AI@Mediators

AI@Mediators is an Erasmus+ project aiming to create a digital program based on AI and other digital learning tools to prevent and combat cyberbullying. Therefore, it will support teachers, school leaders, and other educators to prevent and combat cyberbullying. At the same time, the project aims to inform and collaborate with stakeholders and representatives of political and educational institutions to promote policies and pedagogical content for school curricula to identify and regulate such situations more effectively.

The project is expected to produce important results both on an individual and a community level:

Enhancing Digital Resilience

AI and Chatbots in Cyberbullying Prevention:

The project aims to enhance awareness, knowledge, and comprehension regarding digital transformation and its impact on cyberbullying through AI and chatbots. By fostering digital resilience among individuals, it will promote a proactive stance towards the proper deployment of AI-powered technologies to prevent cyberbullying. Furthermore, the project is dedicated to crafting innovative strategies and methods for the evaluation, monitoring, and addressing of cyberbullying incidents, leveraging the effective use of technology, including AI-driven chatbots.

Empowering School Staff

Strategies and AI Tools for Cyberbullying Intervention:

The project will empower school staff with the ability to recognize and effectively intervene in cyberbullying incidents, thereby preventing and mitigating such occurrences. By equipping them with comprehensive online safety education and engaging activities for their students, alongside resources for timely intervention when cyberbullying arises, the project seeks to elevate their proficiency in handling these situations. Moreover, it will enhance their understanding of effective strategies for addressing cyberbullying cases, including how AI-powered chatbots can bolster efforts to prevent such events.

Fostering Inclusion and Combating Cyberbullying

AI-Supported Educational Initiatives:

The project will educate students on the importance of promoting inclusion and diversity in educational settings and it will encourage them to embrace and respect ethnocultural and personal differences. The project will also reduce the incidence of cyberbullying by providing an online platform for intervention and support from AI-enabled chatbots.
